Drop Planets
About Drop Planets
Drop Planets is a relaxing merge puzzle set in space. Little smiling planets wait at the top of a glass bowl, and you choose where each one falls. When two matching planets touch, they join together into a bigger planet, and if you keep combining them you build bigger and bigger "super-planets".
The idea takes seconds to learn. Slide left or right to line up your planet, then let it drop. Each merge adds points, and you can see small "+20" and "+40" pop-ups when combos happen. Your score and level sit at the top of the screen, and a "Next" bubble at the bottom shows which planet is coming after this one, so you can plan ahead.
The tricky part is space. Planets roll, bounce and pile up, and a badly placed one can block a merge you were saving. Good players keep small planets together, save room for the big ones and think one drop ahead. Every so often a "New planet unlocked!" message shows that you have reached a bigger planet for the first time.
It is calm, cute and very easy to pick up for a quick break, but it is just as easy to keep playing "one more round" to beat your best score. Drop Planets is made for portrait mode, so it feels great on a phone, and it works with a mouse on a computer too. It is a great pick for kids and adults alike.
- 1Press Play to start
- 2Slide left or right (or move the mouse) to choose where the planet will fall
- 3Release or click to drop it into the bowl
- 4Drop a planet onto a matching one to merge them into a bigger planet
- 5Keep merging to grow bigger super-planets and raise your score
- 6Check the "Next" bubble to see which planet is coming and plan your drop
- Only matching planets merge
- Two of the same kind touching each other combine into the next bigger planet and add points to your score
- Planets that don't match simply stack up in the bowl
- The bowl has limited room, so keep it tidy
- Watch the line near the top of the bowl and avoid stacking planets too high
- Use the "Next" bubble: if the next planet matches one in the bowl, leave a path open for it.
- Keep the biggest planets on one side and build up the small ones next to them.
- Drop small planets into gaps instead of on top of big ones, so the pile stays low.
- Chain merges: one merge can make a planet that touches another match and merges again.
- Don't rush. You choose when to drop, so take a second to aim.
- Simple drop-and-merge puzzle gameplay
- Cute smiling planets that grow into super-planets
- Score, level and "Next" planet preview
- New planets to unlock as you merge bigger
